What does the logo of the Regional Council of Burgundy?
The logo evokes the arms of Burgundy, the Duke Philip the Bold, son of King John the Good, still famous for having so well defended her father at the Battle of Poitiers "Father, do you have left, Father, keep you right! ".
He received the award in Burgundy. This explains the presence of golden lilies alongside weapons of Capetian dukes of Burgundy. The capital B is inspired by the signature of St. Bernard.
This logo represents a synthesis by the image of tradition and progress.
