ARTEH
The Joint Research Unit 5594 Archaeology, Cultures and Societies changed its name to ARTEH Archaeology, Earth, History, Companies. The unit is a network of research in archeology, history, heritage and art history, a training center and a member of interregional diffusion of scientific culture.
The UMR 5594 is ARTEH of Humanities. Its supervisors are the CNRS, the University of Burgundy and the Ministry of Culture.
The UMR is composed of four sites in Burgundy (Dijon, Auxerre, Sens, Mont Beuvray). It is headed by Daniel Russo, assisted by two assistant directors, Luc Baray and Jean-Pierre Garcia.
