The regional strategy for biodiversity is launched
Monday, January 30, 2012, Francois Patriat chaired, along with Pascal Mailhos, prefect of the Burgundy region, the launch meeting of the regional strategy for biodiversity. Nearly 250 regional actors: institutions, associations, companies and organizations have already responded consular this.

The Region and the State wish to develop and jointly implement a regional strategy for biodiversity (SRB).
This will aim to identify issues of shared biodiversity conservation, based on a shared, to strengthen the coherence between public policies and regulatory frameworks, and develop strategic direction with priorities for actions.
The SRB will focus in particular with the regional pattern of ecological coherence (SRCE) statutory Grenelle 2 for the preservation of green and blue.
