The regional innovation and entrepreneurship
To the east of Dijon, the regional area of innovation and entrepreneurship (ERIE) will host the main actors of the regional innovation and technology development.

The ERIE will be a unifier for research and innovation Burgundy.
Space dedicated to innovation and enhancement of scientific research, should help to eventually increase the attractiveness of the region while contributing to the competitiveness of the local economy.
The geographical proximity of structures promotes a synergy of activities and facilitates access to innovation services for project owners.
The project is managed by the Regional Council of Burgundy.
The ERIE will consist of five complementary areas of 26,000 m2 :
- A hotel and an innovative business incubators (To accommodate the start-up technology companies and developing). The premises will be oriented activities such as biotechnology, chemistry, computer science ...
- The host of development projects in public-private partnership such as project Pharmimage (In the field of functional imaging and pharmacology, PharmiImage involves the University of Bourgogne, CHU, the Centre Georges-François Leclerc and innovative companies. Its construction includes construction of a building of 1500 m2 for receiving a cyclotron at the service of medical research.)
- A space dedicated to technology platforms . In this area of 4200 m2 shall be installed technology transfer centers and associated research teams. These are technical and human resources open to researchers and companies in the areas of imaging, motor or metallurgy.
- Building a "private" services a total surface area of 7000 m2 host of service companies for innovation and entrepreneurship (strategic, financial, communication, computer ...), as well as innovative technology companies.
The ERIE: A site "green"
- The ERIE will be a "car-free site. It gives priority to soft mobility and transport, grafting its input on future tramway station.
- The development plan and orientation of buildings has been designed to maximize solar gain.
- Rainwater will be collected for watering green spaces.
- Species biodiversity will be guaranteed through the planting of plant species varied ...
