The district of Le Creusot Tennis gets a makeover

Francois Patriat, President of the Burgundy Regional Council, visited on Friday 1st July 2011, the District of Tennis at Le Creusot in the middle of urban renewal.

The opportunity to rediscover this part of the Urban Community of Creusot-Montceau who signed an agreement with the Urban Renewal Area in 2005. It focuses on five areas: Tennis, Republic Harfleur Lapérouse in Le Creusot, the banks and du Plessis Bellevue Lopofa to Montceau-les-Mines, and the residence of Lake Champ Batard in Torcy.

Optimize the quality of life of people

  • Renewal of housing: 240 homes were Demolli, 540 have been renovated and rehabilitated and 35 new green homes were built along the Boulevard Albert 1st . They are equipped with solar panels and have excellent energy performance and better insulation.
  • AMENG feet of new building: installation of digital code, beautification of public spaces ...

Open area to the rest of the city

  • Creating new ways to facilitate access to the neighborhood: Magenta roundabout, avenue de la Paix, rue Hélène Brion, rue Louise Michel and Maria Street Verona.
  • Installation of public facilities for all residents of Le Creusot: new premises of OPAC 71, installation of a sports ground, creating multipurpose hall of Nef (see next article) and the creation of a digital public spaces.

 

The Region has allocated to this project a budget of 8.5 million euros by the end of 2013 and has already committed close to 1, 8 million for the quarter of Tennis.
