The Region and the TER Bourgogne
The regional council organizes regional express transport (TER) from 1st January 2002. The Region is responsible for the organization of sailings, pricing and ensure service quality. It also finances the modernization of rolling stock and participates in the management stations. The Region strives to provide efficient service and offer affordable rates for everyone.

The Burgundy Regional Council is transportation authority Express Regional (TER) from 1st January 2002, according to the Loti (Law of inland transport of 30 December 1982) and law enforcement SRU (Solidarity and Urban Renewal) of 13 December 2000.
Region, an organizer of Transportation
This transfer of jurisdiction of the State gives power to the regions to act on the organization of services TER travelers, particularly in terms of deliveries and pricing, and the quality of this service. The Region also supports the modernization of rolling stock, participates in the management of stations and the renovation of infrastructure. She committed her last years in the development of intermodality.
Convention
An agreement between the region and the SNCF fixed operating conditions and financing of rail and road transport within the regional jurisdiction.
