Formal tests for assessing the level in foreign languages
The region helps young people develop their language skills in their CV assessment tests known in English and German.

Because of having foreign language skills is a major asset in the job market, the Burgundy Regional Council conducts test sessions free for students and job seekers with career or mobility project required to demonstrate language proficiency.
Today, state control of one or more languages can enrich a CV. However, it is important to demonstrate language proficiency by a reliable and recognized beyond the subjective formulations such as "average" or "read, write, speak."
The English test "TOEIC" and examinations of German "Goethe" are internationally known for their ability to assess communication skills in professional situations. Companies that recruit internationally and hosting youth internship often require a level of language approved by the certificates.
The Region conducts test sessions, it supports the registration fee.
Eligible public:
Students:
- enrolled in higher education of Burgundy;
- having a career plan or project that requires mobility to demonstrate their language skills.
- CROUS scholarship students will have priority.
Job seekers:
- enrolled in a job center of Burgundy;
- having a career plan or project that requires mobility to demonstrate their language skills.
