Reduce emissions of CO₂What is?

CO₂are a source of air pollution. France is committed by the Kyoto Protocol to reduce by 20% CO₂2020. In France, in 2006, transportation accounted for 33% of carbon emissions in the country.
Burgundy on to her, has committed, through the Climate Energy Plan 2007-2013 to assist companies to reduce pollution at source and to fight against global warming (among other measures.)
Sustainable development is also one of the three strategic priorities of the regional council ( project contract 2007-2013 State-Region ).
Finally, the Region published in 2007, his Figure regional infrastructure and transport, which involves, first, to respect the Kyoto Protocol, and, secondly, to reduce energy consumption and air pollution.

Support for businesses

In Burgundy, the Regional Council, the Regional Directorate of Equipment, ADEME, the FNTR, TLF, and AFT-UNOSTRA IFTIM came together in a working group to assist regional businesses to voluntarily reduce their CO₂. This support requires the establishment of a concrete action plan and customized over 3 years.
The action plan aims to reduce fuel consumption, and consequently allows the company to reduce its CO₂and make savings.

Businesses can be assisted by a consulting firm for all or part of the phases of the process (diagnosis, implementation, monitoring the action plan). The company may receive financial support from ADEME and the Regional Council, with which may be supplemented by other public assistance (FEDER. ..).
