Support independent publishers and bookstores
Valuing cultural heritage, it also allow publishers and independent bookstores to settle or continue working in Burgundy in the best conditions. The Burgundy Regional Council has set up two assists to meet those needs.

The Burgundy Regional Council has established specific support to independent publishers to enable them to publish or to translate a book to promote the maintenance and development of publishing in Burgundy.
For whom?
The support is intended for publishers who have at least two years of existence and that the pace of publication of at least three books a year.
Publishers must be located in Burgundy or publish works with a significant relationship with the region.
What types of publications are eligible?
This could be work of art, bibliophile, literature, philosophy, poetry ... But also a translation, a comic book, a play ...
IS, independent bookstore Help
The Regional Council of Burgundy, with the aid contributes to the creation, maintenance and development of independent bookstores in the country.
For whom?
Are affected by this aid, small and medium enterprises with headquarters located in Burgundy, who do not own more than three stores and have at least three years of existence.
These libraries must also achieve at least 35% of their turnover from the sale of new books.
What transactions are eligible?
Assistance may include:
- the acquisition of computer equipment for better business management
- the development of the current fund for the development of books of cultural and diversity of editorial choices
- the execution of works, the purchase of furniture, moving expenses to improve the commercial attractiveness
