Stays "class discovery to the environment"
This device is intended to encourage stays "Exploring the Environment" class of Burgundy in centers of environmental education Burgundy, referenced by the Regional Council of Burgundy.
Afin d'améliorer la connaissance et informer sur les caractéristiques de l'environnement bourguignon, le conseil régional de Bourgogne favorise les séjours «découverte de l’environnement» des classes de Bourgogne dans des centres d’éducation à l’environnement bourguignons.
Stays "class discovery to the environment" have the ambition to lower costs for classes and facilitating the organization, schools (all grade levels) of such stays.
Specifically, assistance is allocated directly to classes: 15 € per day per child, paid directly to the center and deducted from the cost of benefits.
Procedure for implementation and monitoring of this policy
- For each school year, the region defines the amounts and conditions of its policy of intervention in support of stay "discovery classes to the environment".
- Region reference year with the help of its partners centers of environmental education (EE) in Burgundy who can benefit classes of financial aid. It therefore informs the centers of the arrangements of the scheme. Those wishing to be listed, fill an application form agreeing to the rules defined by the Region. Referencing is done based on a specification of benefits. A regional committee for consideration of these applications is established. Once the referral center, the Region established a partnership agreement with each center "quality charter".
- Region inform the class on the device, the list of potential business partners and their benefits.
- The centers listed centralize applications and co-meet with classes, types of presentation folders stay. The applications are then sent to the region according to a timetable decided to be educated in order of arrival. After review, the class and the center are informed of the decision of the Regional Council.
- Once the services rendered, centers deduct from their bill to aid provided by the Region (paragraph to be explicit on the receipt) and request the Region the payment of aid, using a form containing an assessment of the stay.
- The Region is implementing a monitoring and evaluation. Such monitoring should help encourage and support structures to improve their performances. In this context, it is envisaged:
- an evaluation of each stay by the teacher and the structure,
- an annual visit of the structures, during a stay in order to assess the impact of aid on the quality of services and impact on the development of skills of the facilitators (training needs)
- an annual meeting of balance with all structures.
Annual referencing structures and products
A list of centers selected is established for each school year by a regional committee of SEO including: representatives of the Regional Council of Burgundy, the National Education, the Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministry of L Environment and Youth and Sports.
