Starting a business in neighborhoods
The Regional Council has established the Program to create neighborhoods (PACQ). His goal: to help neighborhood residents who have difficulty going up and finance their project, to start their own business.

For whom?
The PACQ intended for residents of 22 urban areas of Burgundy.
What is it?
3000 euros in aid, in addition to the financing of your project to launch and sustain your business in good conditions. It is also a personalized, before and after the launch of your business, the Regional Council is at your side to advise you and guide you in your efforts.
Helping each project to have its own economic independence, while creating new positive dynamics in the neighborhoods, it is also this, facilitate access to employment.
The region involved in the neighborhoods
In 2006, the Burgundy Regional Council has put in place specific actions to distressed areas: FIP (Fonds d'intervention proximity), PAF (Assistance Fund projects), PACQ (see article above). PIF, intended for municipalities and housing authorities, provides funding for urgent or time costs of small public facilities. 59 projects have been funded by the Region. The FAP program helps associations and individuals to set up projects to improve neighborhood life and recreate the social link (or dance workshops for children, advocacy, etc.).. 38 initiatives have emerged.
