Francois Patriat, chairman of the Regional Council of Burgundy, and Safia Otokoré, vice president in charge including sports, together with Michel Equey, president of the Association of Former rugby players from Gold Coast, paid tribute on Monday 5 July 2010 at the Hotel de Region, Jo Maso and Philippe Sella, the great figures of French rugby.

The evening was an opportunity for participants to discuss rugby Burgundy, the France team, one year of the world and pay tribute to Jo Maso, former player and manager National Team France rugby and Philippe Sella, 111 caps for France team and coach less than 20 years of Team France. They both received the honorary medal of the regional council.
Didier Retière, coach of France, chosen for professional reasons, will be, too, later medalist.
Note that, in his speech, Francois Patriat expressed his wish to see in the short term, the presence of a team in Burgundy Pro D2.
