Relays agri-energy

Relays Agri-Energy was established in 2007 at the request of the Regional Council and ADEME. the RAE educate, inform and accompany the farmers on issues of economy and energy production. They are also responsible for the emergence of networks and project control and energy production in the agricultural sector.

Information
Driven by the Chamber of Agriculture of Burgundy, the RAE inform farmers on:

  • energy savings in the parlors,
  • solar photovoltaic,
  • geothermal,
  • anaerobic digestion,
  • composting,
  • drying of grain and corn,
  • wood energy
  • wind,
  • etc.

Expertise
They carry out fact sheets to help farmers to develop their projects (livestock buildings, biomass ...).
They also conduct studies and surveys on the potential energy in agriculture:

  • study of anaerobic substrates,
  • energy consumption in livestock buildings,
  • Early anaerobic digestion and dry
  • etc.

Accompaniment
The RAE accompanying project developers with:

  • days of technical training topics (diagnostic energy, solar photovoltaic, wood energy ...)

  • linking farmers to set up joint projects,

In 2010, the RAE step up action on:

  • monitoring of innovative pilot farms,
