Region perpetuates its job springboards

The Regional Assembly met in plenary session Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Hotel de Region. On this occasion, elected officials, including decision sustainability of job boards.

For eight years, the regional council is conducting a voluntary action in favor of associations of Burgundy, the main actors in the field of social ties, and employment. Thus was established in 2004 the device job boards. This involves the assumption of a significant wage recipients for 5 years, and the possibility of qualifying training.

The device has enabled 1,416 young people under 30 years, including 64 affected individuals with disabilities to benefit from job boards. 965 youth received a check of 126 training and assistance to support strengthened.

76% of them now occupy a permanent position full time, which demonstrates the relevance of this mechanism in terms of sustained integration of young people into the labor market.

After reaching the goal he had set, the regional council chooses to continue coaching in the direction of associations beneficiaries of these jobs, to boost the sustainability of posts already created and not to sign contracts of new.

The Regional Council has decided to grant a flat-rate aid associations pledging to keep the young recruits at the end of their employment contract springboard to reduce labor costs incurred by them. This new aid, amounting to 750 euros per month for a permanent full-time, may be paid for up to three years. For a permanent part-time, 50 to 99%, this assistance will amount to 350 euros per month.

As of March 22, 2012, 148 organizations have already benefited from the support sustainability.
