Region and vocational training
The Region continues to devote more resources to the integration and support of active labor market.

Core competence of the Region, training for a major challenge to training in employment services:
- give job seekers the opportunity to find jobs through appropriate training;
- Burgundy to support businesses to develop training for their employees.
The Region has established a Regional Public Service Continuous Professional Development, which controls all the actions in three key areas:
Develop the regional network of reception, information and referral (CAE)
- Supporting structures and events information on careers and hiring offers regional training,
- With a dedicated hotline to vocational training and learning: 0800 888 111 (toll free from a landline)
- By subsidizing 16 Local Missions, in charge of guiding young people under 26 years
- By co-organizing a trade for 8 days with employment center.
Facilitate access to vocational training
- By adapting the supply of regional training needs of businesses and territories (regional program of continuing vocational training)
- By promoting professional qualifying projects through the Cheque Emploi Formation The Passport VAE 2000 Course and Employment.
Towards Employment
- By financing specific actions to people in difficulty, without any qualification, as the Second Chance School , Business integration, companies in temporary work integration, networks of patronage ...
Namely:
- 10,000 Burgundians receive annual training through one of the measures financed by the regional council of Burgundy
- 536 people benefited from the Checkbook Job Training in 2009
- 80% des bénéficiaires Courses for the job for stable employment.
