Refurbished rolling stock
Since 2004, the regional council has spent 240 million euros in the renewal and renovation of rolling stock. The new trains offer more convenience and better accessibility to the disabled.

The AGC (AGC)
The Regional Council is responsible for the replacement of rolling stock. The Region wanted to give a new image to regional rail equipment by acquiring modern equipment and renovating some existing equipment.
The Region has acquired capacity of 48 railcars : Modern equipment, more accessible and offers by model 160 to 220 seats . These new trains are more comfortable (air conditioning, bike rack, luggage rack, etc..) But also improved accessibility for people with reduced mobility (walk-in access with a low floor, disabled toilets and reserved seats).
These were all delivered MCO and traveling between Dijon and Nevers, Auxerre and Paris between Auxerre and Dijon, Dijon and Macon, but also between Dijon and Culmont or between Dijon and Saint-Amour.
The renovation of the park
The Region has chosen a massive renovation of old equipment TER. 43 trains have been upgraded: in addition to landscaping and replacement of seats, it is to incorporate facilities for disabled people but also for some models, installing air conditioning.
- In 2010, the average age of the equipment fleet Burgundy TER reached 15 years against 25 years in 2004.
- 90% of trains Burgundy are now new or renovated.
