Promote access to care in rural areas
To allow each Bourguignon access to quality care in all parts of the country, the Regional Council supports the creation of multidisciplinary medical centers and installation of medical practices in rural areas where there has been an acute shortage of professionals health.
And regional politicians have voted with a € 100 000 for the construction of a nursing home multidisciplinary Cronat (71). The latter, which has just been launched, including hosts general practice, physiotherapy and nursing, but also a dentist an employee of the French Mutuality, the permanence of a dietician and a podiatrist and gerontological network in the country Charolais to conduct medical and social assessments.
The Regional Assembly has also provided a grant of nearly € 4 300 in the town of Ciry-le-Noble (71) to transform a local firm in downtown install two new paramedics and nurses liberal. A structure that will help strengthen the delivery of care to the people of Ciry-le-Noble and surrounding communities within 25 km (Perrecy-les-Forges, Génelard, Oudry, Palinges, Pouilloux and Martigny-le- Count).
The community of communes La Fleur du Nivernais also received regional aid by nearly € 24 000 for the creation of a medical practice in Tannay (58). It should host a GP and a physiotherapist. Meanwhile, the community of Commons launched an exploration of GPs supported by the Region to the tune of € 3 000.
