The Burgundy Regional Council wishes to encourage the emergence of young talent by supporting this writing contest of international dimension.
The Interregional Young Authors Award (pija) aims to encourage creative writing. He wants to be a forum offering young writers a first confrontation with the public since the texts are published in selected editions of Hebe. It gives winners the opportunity of a real meeting by inviting them to share their experiences during the awards ceremony.
Pija gives the last but not least to those that the pen is itching, an excuse to pass the act and blackened pages secretly opportunity to get out of the drawer.
For this 2010 edition, this is poetry that is honored.
Kind This year, candidates will be confronted with poetry, poetic prose.
Beyond this kind of constraint, you have complete freedom in the choice and form of your text.
Words to tell the world that revolves around you, words such as roses or stones, words to sing, to shout the universe within you. Take the pen and let us live it differently: in prose or verse, in two words or ten pages, down to earth and head in the clouds ... Bring us!
Price A sum of 6,000 euros will be allocated among the winning entries from the international jury.
Conditions of participation Being older (e) 15 to 20 years to 28 May 2010.
Present a text not exceeding 10 typewritten pages (size 12, spacing 1.5, simplex), original, novel, did not receive any reward.
Authorize publication of the text by the Publishing Hebe.
A (an) applicant (s) may submit only one work per edition.
Terms of price The text is accompanied by the entry form and a photocopy of the identity of the author (s).
There will be 7 copies typed anonymous. The title should appear on the first page and on the entry form. The texts will not be returned.
Two categories are open. Choice: "French first language, mother tongue" or "French second language, language learned."
Prize list A jury of personalities from the letters will meet in late summer 2010. It will be particularly sensitive to the originality, inventiveness texts and their evocative power.
Participants will be notified of results by mail.
The official ceremony of awards will take place in Switzerland in late 2010.
Except in cases of serious malpractice and justified the granting of a price (e) Winner (e) is subject to its actual presence at the reception.
