Pierre de Bourgogne chain supported by the regional council
Francois Patriat signed Thursday, April 7, 2011, the contract to support economic performance and development of skills (CAPECO) Pierre de Bourgogne with the regional prefect and the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Burgundy. This contract will oversee up to 2013 shares in the sector.

Important economic sector for Burgundy, the die stone has 700 employees in SMEs, craft industries and among sculptors. In the four departments, operating basins contain a rich and varied. Despite its strengths, the profession remains fragile.
CAPECO
For this sector of excellence continues to wear the colors of our region, the Regional Council of Burgundy, the County of Burgundy, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Burgundy region and the die Burgundy Stone have signed a contract support to economic performance and changing skills.
Economic Development
The contract signed, mainly focused economic development, for priority actions:
- Innovation in research and development
- The renewal offer to innovative products, design and green products
- The development of partnerships between companies
- The ecological recovery and display of natural stone
- The evolution of training to better meet the needs of business
- Awareness and training of prescribers
- The development of image and brand "Pierre de Bourgogne".
