New sports facilities in Villers-les-Pots
Saturday, September 3, Francois Patriat, president of the Burgundy Regional Council, opened the sports facilities at Villers-les-Pots in Côte d'Or.

The town of Villers-les-Pots has many sports clubs including the Union Sportive de Villers-les-Pots. With nearly 300 licensees, the football club has several teams of young people but especially a senior female team that will evolve this season in the women's championship league. The footballers are particularly opposed to clubs Dijon, Mâcon Flacé, Châtenay-le-Royal, Auxerre, ...
To allow players to train in good conditions, the work of upgrading the football field has been made, including:
- repairs to the lawn
- the upgrading of the regulatory field dimensions
- the installation of new barrier balloons and shelter key
- the installation of a handrail and fence
