In 2008, a new category came to join the buildings to low and very low energy: positive energy buildings.

With this call for proposals, the Regional Council encourages the dissemination, on a larger scale, construction methods to achieve significant energy savings and to fight against the greenhouse effect. He hopes to develop the concept of low energy housing, very low energy and positive energy.

Since the launch of this operation, the Region has assisted 142 projects, totaling 1,280 units, mostly social, and 84 buildings.
