How the Regional Council?
Chairman of the Regional Council of Burgundy, assisted by the office - consisting of 15 vice-presidents - and 9-sectoral commissions, adopts decisions.

They are then submitted either to the regional assembly, which meets quarterly, all elected regional or at the standing committee that meets monthly 57 elected. They work with employees of the regional council, whose Personal Service Technicians and high schools. This non-teaching staff of schools under the Regional Council since the Act of August 13, 2004.
The regional assembly is composed of 57 regional advisers. It decides on issues, votes on regional policies, decide on the most important aid intended for local authorities, businesses, farmers, researchers, higher education institutions ... The Assembly also voted each year the budget of the Regional Council which resulted in expenditure and revenue, the policy.
