Health education: the map for inter therapists and occupational therapists
The five regions of the Far East * launched a study to analyze the needs of the labor market by professionals qualified in the "allied sectors at low numbers." Result: training in specialties, podiatrist, occupational therapist, psychomotor, speech therapist, orthoptist, audiologist, dietician, or are not very present in their territory. Some will now be taught in Mulhouse at the beginning of September 2012.

Psychomotor
One of the recommendations of the 2009 report planned for the therapists, the creation of an interregional center can accommodate students from throughout the Great Eastern. The educational project provided the other to affect students professionalizing courses in their region of origin.
The hospital has filed a Mulhouse - under investigation - to welcome within its walls, from the beginning of September 2012, an inter-institute training psychomotor (IIFMR) 25 people (5 per region). Cooperation with universities should lead to short-term selection of students coming out of the common first year Health Studies (PACES).
Each regional council will support the financial cost of training students in its region. Studies leading to the degree of state psychomotor last three years.
Occupational Therapists
The Great Eastern has a single training institute in occupational therapy, Nancy, with 48 places reserved for students from PACES, Faculty of Medicine, Nancy. To address the needs identified in the far east, it will increase its capacity to reach 50 seats, 10 "keys" for PACES students from the University of Reims.
In parallel, the hospital in Mulhouse plans to open a new institute Interregional Training in Occupational Therapy (IIFE), with 20 seats in the first year. This IIFE welcome students and Alsace regions (8), Franche Comté (6) and Burgundy (6), each regional council again taking over the financial cost of training students in its region.
The creation of the interregional training psychomotor and occupational therapy is a "first" at the national level, no such structure exists to date. Regional services in charge of health and social finalizing the administrative, legal and financial, to enable the proper functioning of these structures a new type in the field of rehabilitation.
