PUBLIC DEFICITS
Francois Patriat questioned the government
Francois Patriat, a senator from the Gold Coast, President of the Regional Council of Burgundy, is reached, Thursday, May 20, during the Senate Government Questions about the National Conference of deficits.
"Local authorities have budgets to balance, despite the divestments of state grants that require them to level their absence, the obligation upon them to co-finance investments out of their skills (LGV campus plan, plan stimulus, large loan), the reduction of their resources, resulting in a sluggish and inadequate taxation.
All of Regions borrow in a year that the state borrows in a week. I demand transparency, that of a genuine dialogue with the Government to accompany a true decentralization, only able to help France out of crisis.
I want a discourse of truth about the addition that will pay the French in the end, (...) because the government has given written promise to Brussels to increase the tax burden by up to 2 years 40 billion Euros to reduce government deficits. "
