Since 2002, the association Equi-Sense, based in Asnieres-les-Dijon (Côte-d'Or), uses the horse as a "tool" therapy to treat people, children, adolescents, adults, suffer from difficulties relational or social or wishing to overcome a disability, whether physical, sensory or motor.

She is the first in France to offer this type of therapy that can address the educational, pedagogical, psychological and emotional relationships. His public flows across the region and beyond.

Institutions, social or medical prescribers and individuals themselves make use of its services, seeking a better life within, an improvement of behavioral disorders. The challenge is sometimes significant.

To succeed, Sabine Chapuis, Head of the structure and special education teacher, trained in therapy with the horse (TAC), along with other specialists, including a riding instructor, provides individual sessions or small groups. Lasting 45 minutes, they include care for the horse, walking in hand or mounted, or put in the saddle.

The Regional Council of Burgundy finance both jobs springboards of the association.
