East branch of the Rhine-Rhone
On the occasion of the visit of Prime Minister, Francois Fillon, Monday, Jan. 31, at Villers-les-Pots, for laying the last rail of the first section of the eastern branch of the Rhine-Rhone, François and François Rebsamen Patriat wish to indicate, beyond the symbolism of this event, that this achievement would not have been possible without the contribution of local authorities.
They recall the "substantial commitment of local authorities in achieving this great project of railway service to the territory in respect of one third of funding for communities, including 75 million for the Regional Council of Burgundy and 31.44 million euros Grand Dijon ".
They call the Prime Minister "to initiate the further construction of the eastern branch (second section between Genlis and Villers-les-Pots), both government funding and Réseau Ferré de France, on the preparatory work, accordance with the provisions of the Grenelle Environment on the development of HSL in 2020.
