The project contracts State-Region (CPER) presents the main structural actions of Burgundy for the period 2007-2013. This contract was prepared on the basis of a permanent and constructive dialogue between the State and the Region, and with many partners.

European operational programs

For better use of public funds, the ERCP was prepared in conjunction with the new European operational programs for 2007-2013, allowing for consistency and coordination of interventions and the CPER is therefore fully in a European perspective, including As regards cross-compliance projects.

France has indeed committed to keep objectives in this area and in reducing inequalities between women and men, by integrating these two dimensions in all its action plans.

Contracts and interregional

Meanwhile, complementarities were sought between the CPER Burgundy and the various contracts and interregional (Rhone, Loire, Seine, Massif central), as well as ERCP neighboring regions (Franche-Comté and Auvergne) for railway issues.

He stands, strictly speaking, to 627 million euros (277 million € for the State € 350 million for the region) and over one billion euros all together financiers, including cooperation programs interregional.


The strategic directions

The common goal that the State and the Region wanted to share with all the Burgundians focuses on three transverse axes, common to all projects:

  1. Improving rail and river transport,
  2. Structuring the economy and support the changes,
  3. Strengthen higher education and research,
  4. Preserving the environmental quality of natural and water resources,
  5. Valuing the major heritage sites,
  6. Support the progressive measures of agricultural and forestry
  7. Territorial component,
  8. Promote the role of the regional capital.
