Call for International Solidarity and Development Project

The Regional Council of Burgundy Burgundy offers organizations to submit their projects for international solidarity, and their plans for development education and awareness to fair trade in the Burgundy region, in order to benefit from regional co-financing. For the 2012 call for projects, records must be submitted before January 28 or April 28 depending on the date of the project.

 

Beneficiaries

This call for projects aimed at associations, public or private institutions and local authorities. Project leaders must be absolutely headquartered in Burgundy.

Conditions of admissibility

Two types of projects can be supported:

Projects in developing countries:

  1. Are of interest for the local population and territory Burgundy or local authorities, within the framework of decentralized cooperation agreement within the meaning of section 1115 L-1of the General Code of Territorial Communities.
  2. Focus on regional expertise include:
    - Economic Development
    - Training
    - Agriculture
    - Environment
    - Planning
    - Health
  3. Part of a true partnership approach (consultation and involvement of the partner in the development and monitoring of the project).
  4. Include an awareness component and development education.

Education projects in the development, promotion of the Francophonie, or awareness of fair trade in the Burgundy region.

Excluded are:

  • Efforts to improve timely economic situation or health emergency
  • The delivery of food, medicines, clothing ...
  • The shares of foreign investment,
  • The assembly phases of the project, prospective feasibility study,
  • The actions already completed or in progress.


Financial conditions

Funding for the Regional Council is 40% maximum of total eligible budget for projects with a total cost exceeding 20,000 euros and 30% for projects with a total cost exceeding 20,000 euros. It is capped at 10,000 per project. On the same financial year, the Region can only fund one project by association.

Applicant organizations must complete the application forms and send it to the Regional Council of Burgundy.
