CLEI, a year after its start

On the agenda: an update on the recent orders, the company's business and prospects of development and a workshop tour of drying.

The Region is committed from the start by confirming its financial contribution amounting to 950,000 euros on the vouchers and cash assistance to job creation. Therefore, the company was able CLEI enhance its disaster recovery plan and start its industrial holding 55 jobs on the site.
Among the historical customers of the former group who are now Ceric CLEI confidence, we find large groups such as Wienerberger, Terreal, Monier and Imerys, as well as private customers and regional leaders in their markets.
After an initial year 2010 beyond his expectations, CLEI just implement internationally two major contracts totaling nearly € 12 million of new orders:
- a brick full of 140 000 tonnes / year in Algeria, one of the few asset markets, won with a solution that combines innovation, robustness and reliability,
- realization for the group of ETEX all automatic handling of a new ultra modern tile in Poland will be among the largest in Europe, which confirms the leading position CLEI for high technology and robotics.
The turnover for 2011 is expected to more than 20 million €, and new orders substantially higher than forecast at over € 30 million, including through the implementation of a global benchmark sector programmed the end of the first half, amounting to approximately € 20 million.
After a year of successful transformation has enabled the reopening of the testing laboratory for drying and cooking 4C - Competence Center Ceramics CLEI - and the establishment of a production plant of furnaces and maintenance of thermal equipment, this allows CLEI promising start to consider a peaceful and sustainable growth and the hiring of 15 by 1st September.
