Aid organic certification
For the third consecutive year, the Burgundy Regional Council renews its support of certification for organic farming, with support for the second time the EU (EAFRD).
Agriculture biologique (AB)
The 463 certified organic structures Burgundy (AB) represent 2.7% of professional farms in Burgundy in 2008. They are up 3.3% over 2007.
The Regional Council is acting in favor of organic farming to maintain and advance the number of organic farms in Burgundy .
The Regional Council provides direct support producers and supports some additional costs related to production control certification AB .
Assistance may be requested annually for a period of 5 years.

Farms producing organic mode, whether or not conversion.
Investments funded
Actual cost of the certification mode of production and biological transformation:
- a funding rate:
- 40% for a mixed mode of production (conventional and organic)
- 80% for a fully organic production.
