YOUNG

Aid driving in Burgundy

In 2011, the Region is committed to a new program for 16-25 year olds which aims to help by promoting equal opportunities, young people entering the workforce. Initially, it will help them finance their driver's license, an essential tool for mobility and, often, access to employment.

Permis de conduire

Permis de conduire

The first stage of the "Youth Self-Pack" passed by the regional representatives in January 2011 focuses on aid to finance, in part, the driving licenses of people under 26 years of age enrolled in a career (CAP, vocational baccalauréat , learning, alternately, a job seeker training ...) or jobseekers graduated less than a year, and people with disabilities (under 30 years). Depending on circumstances, this assistance may be awarded means-tested.

In return, the applicant agrees to perform 15 hours of volunteer activities on public interest in an association of their choice.

The practical arrangements and paperwork for assistance to finance the license can be downloaded below.

The "Youth Self-Pack" will offer, in a second step, measures to facilitate access for young Burgundian housing and health.
