A new restaurant in Le Creusot U
Francois Patriat, President of the Regional Council of Burgundy, inaugurated Monday, January 23, 2012, the new university restaurant Le Creusot.

The new university restaurant Le Creusot designed by architect Francis Brandon, futuristic silhouette and attractive colors, Avenue Jean Monnet is located in the area of the plain of Riaux, close to the IUT (700 students), the University Centre Condorcet and Lycée Léon Blum.
The building of 1,200 sq. ft. "high environmental quality" welcomes students creusotins since January 3, 2012. It can serve up to 550 meals daily and has 250 seats.
A must for local student life since it is intended as a service center (permanence of the social worker, meeting rooms, offices, associations ...). U a restaurant next generation should be as an additional asset for the campus of South Burgundy.
Total cost: € 3.3 million, funded half by the Regional Council of Burgundy, the rest by the State, the Metropolitan Creusot-Montceau (owner), the City of Le Creusot and the CROUS.
