A development plan for Oak Saône
The renewal of oaks is essential to the viability of the wood of the plain of the Saone.
This is why the Burgundy Regional Council supports the development plan for mass carried by the regional center for forest ownership.

The bulk of the Saône plain represent 100 000 ha of forest, half of which are private. They have a high production potential areas and provide great wines of oaks (including Seurre and Saint Martin en Bresse).
Currently the majority of people are from old coppice age and dying, without trees or young seedling.
The massive development plan aims to bring together forest owners to allow the renewal of stands, which supply quality wood sawyers and local carpenters. It provides a precise inventory of the massive support and collective and individual private forest owners
