A book tribute to female athletes
Under the impetus of the Regional Council of Burgundy, the Olympic and Sports Committee Regional de Bourgogne, in partnership with the Faculty of Sport Sciences, has just published a book dedicated to Sport in Burgundy .

Among portraits, stories and testimonies, the book presents the rich and varied backgrounds of twenty women who have chosen Burgundy voice of sport.
Whether sports, coaches or leaders, they tell their story with the difficulties and prejudices, women's sport in general, which they have faced.
The Burgundy Regional Council supports the leagues and sports committees. It supports in particular the high-performance sport, is involved in the development of employment in sport in rural areas, allows a balanced regional sports development, encourages people with disabilities to grow through sport and promotes access for young people and women to a sport.
In this context, it annually conducts actions in favor of sports Burgundy: supporting women's organizations events, scholarships for best sport, sport annual meeting women, etc..
