SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION
"Polytechnic" means the process is initiated
Cooperation in science and engineering schools teaching is a major issue for the recognition and affirmation, on a national and international higher education Burgundy and the quality of its research units. In this spirit, a Polytechnic, unique and unifying structure, was born in 2009. The Burgundy Regional Council supports the initiative alongside the state.

This "Polytechnic" aims to reorganize and refocus higher education regional carriers around three areas: food processing, auto-mechanics / materials management / management.
Thus, on the campus of the Higher Institute of Automotive and Transportation (ISAT) of Nevers, a first joint promotion of engineering students ISAT-ESIREM (Graduate School of Engineering and Materials Research infotronic Dijon) was born.
Students in first and second years following four common modules today:
- mechanics and materials
- Computer and electronic
- Industrial Technology
- energy
A reconciliation precursor and relevant, bringing the school enrollment to 412 students Nevers in 2009 against 327 the previous year.
The Burgundy Regional Council has supported the acquisition of new machinery and equipment in Education ISAT for a total of € 184 600.
Note that other educational partnerships are underway or planned between the ISAT and the Arts and Crafts ParisTech Cluny (formerly ENSAM) and the Institute of Technical Engineering Industry (ITII) of Auxerre.
