"4 clusters for Burgundy
Datar has announced the results of the 2e wave of the call for projects "Clusters" launched by the state. Of 82 winning projects, Burgundy gets 4 projects approved on the 10 it had submitted. Patriat Francis, president of the Regional Council of Burgundy, is delighted with the result that values four projects structuring a business combination.
"I am pleased to see that these four sectors of activity that we have strongly supported and assisted in their efforts to build a cluster. Of promising and innovative sectors that prepare tomorrow's jobs and, again, part of a sustainable development process:
- The association WIND 4 Future in wind energy or more than 1000 jobs have been created in Burgundy.
- The division's performance in Magny Cours Nièvre of over 20 companies to develop alternative energy vehicles and low carbon footprint.
- ACE (Agro Composites Companies) uniting twelve firms in an industry that is innovative agro-materials and find applications in fields as diverse as plastics, automotive, decoration ...
- Finally, the fourth cluster around the selected site in Le Creusot - Montceau les Mines with companies in the rail industry, rolling stock and handling grouped around the theme, "Design, Construction and Maintenance of Mobile Gear" (3500 jobs). "
